I initialize the disk management utility and XP using the USB 300 GB and it works well. I transferred files from old three 3-1/2 “IDE hard drives, it is not listed with an IDE to USB adapter. When you use the same cable for the 2-1/2″ IDE laptop XP Disk on “management”, but it can not be studied. “It also shows not on XP” My Computer “, so I am not able to trasfer bin.Ich arbitrary files now at a loss as to how the data [retrieve from the damaged disk before reinstalling the OS . Do all "Data Recovery" options, trying without success.] [And The Geek Squad wants $ 170, do it for me... not this time again...] [Do it now be done in DOS? Is he involved?] What can someone show me in the right direction to get the laptop dirve provided data on the mass storage device?? My technical knowledge is average… but I can follow instructions and acquire new skills…, O]

I have a Compaq laptop not sure which model or what, but it has an AMD processor in it, but now that I’ve heard great things about the new Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme, if you is not compatible please tell me what I can swap games on the processors will be grateful for any help

What are all the accessories required?

For one that also includes Europe, I don’t think you’ll find one reasonably priced. I recommend getting away from using your laptop for serious navigation. Laptops are ok for plotting routes and finding places, but for on the fly real time navigation in both The US and Europe, I have to recommend the Tom Tom. Check it out at Best Buy or the link below.
I ran Microsoft streets and trips for 5 years on my laptop with GPS, and it was very hard to manipulate the program while driving if I needed to for an alternate route or something. The new Tom Tom is just great. I love it.
