I need to buy a new battery for my laptop and there is quite a bit of variation in the price listed on the Dell website compared to those on ebay?
For example the one that I’m looking into is listed at $190 at Dell and $90 on ebay! Why is that? Is it a good idea to shop from ebay for such accessories? The one on ebay says 1 year warranty but not sure how reliable that is.
Feedback from those with similar experience will be greatly appreciated.

I would consider it part of the actual laptop but it is not absolutely necessary to make the laptop work.
True accessories are devices like an USB mouse or webcam.

Battery run-time on a laptop is difficult to determine. Actual battery running time depends upon the power demands made by the equipment. The use of the screen, the hard drive and other accessories results in an additional drain upon the battery, effectively reducing its running time. The total run-time of the battery is also dependent upon the design of the equipment. Generally, a new Hi-Capacity battery will run 30% to 50% longer than the old battery did when it was new.

I just got a new blackberry today and want to find out the best way to charge it from the get-go. My phone right now only lasts about one day on full battery and I hate it. So since I am just taking my blackberry out of the box right now, how should I initially charge it?

I’ve tried replacing the battery and nothing has worked. Does anyone have any answers? The Blackberry and carrier websites have provided no help.
