I want a laptop. But I need to make money for it. The one I want is $549.00 but I also want money for accessories and for the geek squad. I am under the age of 16 so I can’t do a real job like work at a petstore or something!?! Thank you for helping!
Why Can’t I Connect A Laptop And Pc Via Lan/router To Internet?
I’ve attempted to connect the laptop to the pc (all cords & accessories plugged in to the appropiate spaces) and even had some sort of LAN connection…yet I can connect to the internet with the PC, but can’t connect the laptop to the PC (no direct connection anyway…they seem to reconnize the fundamental connection) nor the internet. Any help, please?

Best Laptop For College?
College life, fun…I need advice on which laptop to buy, I’ve done my research in fact I’ve done tons of it. And I have a general idea of what I want/need the laptop to have, but I’m not sure about the best brand, best screen size, most affordable,which is lighter in weight.And that snazzy stuff that counts.
Here’s what I want/need
-17 in or 15.4 widescreen
-Under $1000 or $1200
-I’ll be traveling a lot before school starts so I want it to be light weight, but still have all the components
-I was thinking HP or Dell, MAYBE Mac
-I’ll have music,pictures,videos,general school stuff + more
-A 120 to 160 gb storage [correct me if I'm wrong please]
-Built in web cam if possible
-DVD/CD burner [if that exists on a new model]
I’ll be using it 95% of the time, and I’ll be traveling a lot. So I don’t want it to be super heavy, and oh tips on buying an afforable backpack and accessories for the laptop?

What Kind Of Bag Should I Get For My Laptop?
I’m about to start college and i don’t know what kind of bag i should get for my 14″ laptop. I’m choosing among the laptop backpacks, laptop sleeves, or the laptop cases with the shoulder strap or handle. The laptop backpacks sound really convenient and protective for my laptop, but i don’t know if theres going to be enough space to put my books in. The laptop sleeves are perfect to slide in a backpack but I can’t put my accessories anywhere. The laptop cases aren’t that very convenient if i have to carry another bag with my backpack but it really protects my laptop and carries my accessories. Any ideas,advise, or products you recommend?
In Vista All My Programs Are Missing From The Start Menu?
On my laptop all my programs including accessories have gone missing from the start menu, and ‘I think’ this might of occurred when I uninstalled a program.
I have already checked a few things like whether or not the program files were hidden and they weren’t and I’ve also copied the program files to the start menu, which kind of worked, but it copied all the other rubbish with it.
Can you please suggest a way to fix problem, or even if needs be restore my entire laptop (also none of my system restores work).

Where Can I Buy A Cable That Would Connect My External Cd-rom Drive To A Usb On My Dell Laptop?
I have a Dell laptop (Latitude) and my problem is that the external CD-ROM has a cable that has a very different ending of the cable compared to devices. Most devices like external hard drives have a USB ending. Well, I can only connect that external cd drive to my new Latitude laptop but I can’t connect it to my older laptop, also Dell, because it doesn’t have the same plug. I was wondering if there is a short “connector” cable out there that has one USB ending and the other would connect to my external drive. The ending from my external looks like 2 USB endings combined together … the following link is the closest picture that I found of my drive however I couldn’t find anything that would zoom in on this cable. Hi. So, I decided to get a HP laptop over a Toshiba. The only thing is that the Toshiba had ‘Toshiba face recognition software”. My question is: Is there a face recognition software that works for any notebook that I can buy for my HP?
Also what is the cheapest price you can find for a fingerprint reader (that you can connect to your laptop externally)? Please provide a link or name the store. I think that the microsoft finger print reader generally costs the least but I want to know what store or website sells it the cheapest. try to make sure the website is a trustworthy one. =]
