My laptop has a built in graphics card and i want to play some better pc games on it, the only thing holding my comp back is the built in graphics card in the monitor. so if i buy some thing like this http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Gaming_Accessories/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-8218 would it improve the graphics?

No. Graphics are affected by the video card, it is not in the monitor. The graphics card is a separate piece of hardware connected to the motherboard. While a different monitor might be able to support a higher resolution, it will not improve graphics processing. You want a graphics card, when you have one it might be time to consider a new monitor, but it might be more worth while to get a new laptop than combining the cost of a GPU and monitor.
In you get choppy video, its your notebook’s built in graphics card. A monitor would never hinder your graphics. Unfortunately, you can’t upgrade built-in graphics cards.
that bigger monitor would help with the resolution but it wont help with games as the graphics card is the same and cant be changed
Monitors don’t contain graphics cards. That’s built in to your motherboard and in 99% of cases, laptop video cards are not upgradeable
Not with the onboard graphics hardware on your pc! Changing the monitor ISNT going to get the games to run. The ONLY thing you could do is get a newer laptop period
