Laptop Accessories In The Philippines?

my laptop comes with an HP expresscard TV tuner, allows me to watch live tv shows on my laptop.. will it work in the Philippines? what antenna should i buy and where can i find them?

It should work in the Philippines depending on how far television stations can broadcast the signal to your location in the islands.

If your laptop comes with an antenna hookup port/jack, you can use any VHF/UHF antenna booster to achieve a better signal in the Philippines. Just make sure your VHF/UHF power adapter will also work for 240 volts instead of just the 120 volts (U.S. standard) power outlet (unless you buy a 240 to 120 volt transformer in the Philippines)
Also, most laptops already support the 240 volts power input, but you should read your laptop power adapter to make sure it’s labeled and capable of 120 – 240 volts input. Otherwise, you can fry your laptop if it’s not plugged into a 240 to 120 volt transformer.
