I am taking various electrical items with me (laptop, ipod accessories, razor, battery chargers etc) and was wondering if I need to worry about the voltage difference?
Yep, we use 110-120v over here.
Most of your appliances will be rated to operate in the 110v – 250v range (check on the appliance for a rating sticker), so you simply just need to use a UK – US travel adapter plug.
If any of your appliances operate strictly at 230v or above (it’s rare, but possible), then you won’t be able to use it in the US, even with the pin adaptor plug.
