What Are The Essential Accessories To A Laptop Purchase?
I would refer to a site called pcmag.com, all they do is evaluate computer equipment. They have complete resources on every accessory known to man, almost.
Try also going to consumerreports.org for some great advice. After you’ve chosen one you think you’d like go to a site called epinions.com for some great user reviews. I would use them, even over the masses, as everyone has a different opinion. Although I find you can spot trends with epinions.com and narrow down some good products that way. Go to froogle.com for some great prices, I use it often. Below are a couple of articles I found that you might find interesting, good luck!

a nice wireless mouse,( i have a logitech that you plug the thing into a usb port) and it is great, you need a laptop case, a mouse pad, if you have lots of pictures or music then a portable hard drive. you might want to get an extra battery too….

A wireless mouse, power supply, laptop bag. That would be the standard.
